Finance Officer – SAI/FO 1. Company Overview Strategic Asia is a private company with a public vision. Strategic Asia is a high end consulting firm providing advisory and facilitation services to governments, private businesses, international organisations, civil society organisations and media groups. - Finance Officer will work closely with Head of Int’l Consulting Division. Finance Officer is responsible to assist the Head of Int’l Consulting Division in maintaining financial, accounting, and administrative and personnel services in order to meet the requirements and support organization operations. 2. Application deadline : 10 September2012 Contract Type : Fixed Term Contract (with possible extension) Duty station :Central Jakarta Duration : 12Months (with 3 months probation period) Salary range: Negotiable, based on the experience and qualifications. 3. Description of Responsibilities - Handling day to day transactions. Preparingall the paymentvouchersand ensuringthe invoices are suitable with the supporting document. - Updating financial data to accounting software (VT Transaction). - Checking and reviewing each transaction before processing the payment, including invoice and other supporting document should adequate with Strategic Asia standard procedure. - Preparing reconcilebank and cash on hand weekly and monthly - Preparing company’s tax related work accordingly, i.e: PPH21, 23, PPN, SPT Badan, etc. - To be able tomanage the issues of corporate finance issues across SA offices in Europe and Asia countries. - Processing bankpayment and maintaining good relationship with them. - Ensuring all the financial documents are stored properly and kept confidential - Assisting the Head of Int’l Consulting Division on internal and external audit preparation - Handling for the procurement goods and or service process - The Finance Officer will be responsible for monitoring the financial health of the company, ensuring adequate cashflow, and keeping and organised record of all financial transactions within the company - The Finance Officer has a duty to provide the senior consulting team with the most accurate and timely financial information possible. This would include information such as the costs for a potential project - Coordinate with the administrative and programme departments to ensure that all financial related matters and needs are addressed - Other relevant duties as assigned by the line manager. 4. Recruitment Qualifications: Education: Minimum S1 Degree in Accounting/Finance Business Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: - 4 years experience in Finance and Accounting. Experience in Public Accountant is preferable - Have a good understanding in Finance and Accounting management. - Good Knowledge of financial reporting, analysis and theory - Experienced in PPH 21, 23, PPN, SPT Badan,etc. Very familiar with tax regulations in Indonesia - Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information - Excellent interpersonal skills - Team building skills - Analytical and problem solving skills - Decision making skills - Effective verbal and listening communication skills - Very effective organisational skills - Computer skills including the spreadsheet and wordprocessing programs, and e-mail at a highly proficient level - Stress management skills - Time management skills Language Requirements: Excellent Bahasa Indonesiaand Intermediate level of English (written and spoken) Personal Attributes: The candidate must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the Finance Officer.
