POSITIONS: Team Coordinator: Forest Restoration Specialist (14 PM) Qualifications: The Team Coordinator/Forest Restoration Specialist will have qualification in forest ecology/land rehabilitation. He/she should have experience with implementation of similar programs (especially forest restoration using local potential species) and/or understanding of ecological criteria for forest restoration. He/she should be preferably a Master Degree in forest ecology/forest resources conservation with preferably 10 years experience in similar projects Team Coordinator: Stakeholder Facilitator/Community Empowerment (14 PM) Qualifications: The Team Coordinator/Stakeholder Facilitator/Community Empowerment Expert will have qualification in relevant community development and village planning disciplines. He/she should be familiar with the Indonesian Conservation Area Management Practices and have strong communication and analytical skills. He/she should also have a strong understanding and experience in dealing with multi-stakeholder, especially related with Protected Area management. He/she should preferably have a Master Degree in a relevant discipline with preferably 10 years experience in the implementation of other similar projects in Indonesia. Doctoral degree would be an advantage for this position. He/she should also have worked with internationally funded programs in Indonesia. Team Coordinator: Water Resources /Environmental Economist (10 PM) Qualifications: The Team Coordinator/Water Resources Specialist/Environmental Economist will have qualifications in water management within conservation areas and in implementing integrated biodiversity conservation programs, especially in respect to the Payment for Environmental Services Programs. He/she will be an experienced expert with specialization in natural resources (water resources) management, watershed management, economic valuation, and payment for environmental services. He/she should be familiar with Indonesian Conservation Area Management Practices, and have strong communication and analytical skills. He/she should also have worked with internationally funded program in Indonesia. He/she should have preferably a master Degree in natural/water resources management with preferably 10 years experience in the field of forest ecology and biodiversity conservation programs. GIS Specialist (9 PM) Qualifications: The GIS Specialist/Programmer will have qualifications in designing GIS database and GIS applications for biodiversity conservation and conservation area management. He/She should be familiar with the most common software for GIS database, GIS applications and Remote Sensing software. It will be an advantage if he/she has knowledge of biodiversity conservation area management in Indonesia. He/she will be an experienced expert in GIS and database program development. He/she should preferably have a university degree in geography or management information system with preferably 12 years experience in similar projects. GIS Assistant (14 PM) Qualifications: He/she will be an experienced expert with qualifications and specialization in GIS and database program development. He/she should preferably have a university degree in geography or management information system with preferably 5 years experience in similar projects. Remote Sensing Specialist (8 PM) Qualifications: The Remote Sensing/Database Specialist will have qualification in a relevant GIS/Remote Sensing and Database development discipline and have experience in developing GIS database application for biodiversity conservation or similar field in Indonesia. He/she should have strong communication skills, understanding recent GIS and database software application and have worked with internationally funded programs. He/she should preferably have a university Degree in Geography/Management of Information Technology with preferably 12 years experience in the field of GIS/RS application for conservation area management. Forest Ecologist (13 PM) Qualifications: The Forest Ecologist will have qualifications in a relevant forest ecology discipline as part of the biodiversity conservation program. He/she will be an experienced expert with qualifications and specialization in forest ecology, vegetation survey, and ecological restoration areas. He/she should also have knowledge and understanding of forest management, conservation area management with ecological restoration and flora/fauna habitat assessment, and forestry laws and regulations in Indonesia, especially in Java. He/she should preferably have a university degree in Forest Ecology with preferably 12 years experience in the field of forest ecology and biodiversity conservation programs. Land Rehabilitation Training Instructor (13 PM) Qualifications: The Land Rehabilitation Training Instructor will have qualifications in a relevant forestry management and community engagement discipline. He/she will be an experienced expert with qualifications and specialization in ecological restoration areas, ecological restoration concepts, conservation area management and conservation programs. He/she should also have knowledge and understanding of forest management, organic farming initiatives, and community engagement. He/she should preferably have a university degree in Forest Ecology with preferably 8 years experience in the field of forest ecology and implementation of training programs. Landscape Architect (8 PM) Qualifications: The Landscape Architect will have qualifications in a relevant landscape architecture discipline and have experience in designing tourism area/park within conservation areas. He/she should be familiar with designing landscape for tourism destinations. He/she should preferably have a university degree in landscape architecture with preferably 8 years experience in the implementation of other similar projects in Indonesia. Cultural Anthropologist (8 PM) Qualifications: The Anthropologist/Social Scientist will have qualification in relevant a socio-cultural anthropology discipline and have experience in implementing biodiversity conservation programs based on a socio-cultural approach and Payment for Environmental Services. He/she should be familiar with community engagement processes such as PRA, FGD, etc. He/she should preferably have a university degree in sociology/socio-cultural anthropology with preferably 8 years experience in the implementation of other similar projects in Indonesia. Business Planner (9 PM) Qualifications: The Business Planner will have qualifications in a relevant natural resources based business management discipline. He/she will be an experienced expert with qualifications and specialization in natural resources based business development areas. He/she should preferably have a university degree with preferably 8 years experience in business development in other similar projects in Indonesia. Institutional/Policy Specialist (8 PM) Qualifications: The Institutional/Policy Specialist will have qualifications (preferably a Master degree) in a relevant institutional and public policy discipline and have previous experience in the implementation of Payment for Environmental Services programs in Indonesia. He/she should have strong communication and analytical skills and be familiar with regulations and policies in Indonesia related to natural resources management, and collaboration with NGOs. He/she should preferably have 10 years experience in the implementation of other similar projects in Indonesia. Financial Management Specialist (14 PM) Qualifications: He/she will be an experienced expert with qualifications and specialization in financial management. The consultant should preferably have a university degree in economy with 8 years experience in the field of environmental planning and programming as well as familiarity with NGO, regional governments, and public entities. The expert will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be fluent in written and spoken English, and have proven ability in report writing for professional purposes. Community Development Specialist (13 PM) Qualifications: The Community Development Specialist will have qualification in a relevant community empowerment/development, village conservation model, and socio-economic/culture discipline. He/she should have knowledge and understanding of various approaches and models for community development, alternative livelihood programs, community training, and community participation programs in Indonesia. He/she should preferably have a university degree with preferably 6 years experience in the field of conservation communication. Agro-Forestry Expert (12 PM) Qualifications: The Agro-forestry Specialist will have qualifications and specialization in forestry/social forestry to support conservation area management (alternative livelihoods, community training and community participation). He/she should also have knowledge and understanding of various agro-forestry models for community development programs in Indonesia. He/she should preferably have a university degree with preferably 6 years experience.
