ChildFund Indonesia is currently seeking:

Position        : Finance Assistant (Position Code: FA)
Reporting to  : Country Manager Finance 
Based in       : Jakarta

Functional Summary

Responsible for providing support for record keeping of financial transactions and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for providing support for information for National and Area office financial reporting requirementsAssists Country Manager-Finance  in the preparation and completion and timely submission of National Office information for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual organization financial reports (summary report, Budget VS Actual, etc).Responsible for review, analyze the documents transactions from Zonal office, grant project and from partner, ensuring all appropriate payments/income is recorded according to organization policy.Assist with ensuring compliance  with finance department procedures manual and formsAssist with monthly accounting closing process including bank reconciliations, other account reconciliations and end of year closing/audit processesResponsible for providing support for audit document requirements and reportsResponsible for records management for financial files; assist in the development of records management procedures and
processesSupport program staff, affiliated organizations and partners for proposals, budget preparation and compiling monthly report from Partner/Zonal offices.

Qualifications and experience
 
Two - four years work experience in financial bookkeeping & Project finance (grant from multi donors)Ability to work and communicate clearly both verbally and in writingGood understanding of administrative, financial and general management principlesExcellent problem solving skills; ability to analyze data, along with the capacity to accurately perform a variety of financial tasks by organizing and establishing prioritiesExperience and proficiency on financial software and reporting systemsAbility to work independently, sense of responsibility & Initiative.Computer proficiency in general office software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).Written and spoken fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.In some event (emergency, project set-up, etc) ready to be deputed to any ChildFund project in Indonesia.Associates degree in business administration or accounting or related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
