Mercy Corps Indonesia is currently seeking to fill the post through external candidates: MALUKU Maluku Response – Program Summary: To address the immediate needs of the populations affected by the Maluku rains and flooding, Mercy Corps is implementing a three-month emergency response program funded by USAID. The program aims to address the immediate NFI and WASH needs of flood-affected populations through the distribution of emergency kits, reconstruction kits, and water, sanitation and hygiene interventions. These following positions still contingent on funding. 1. Team Leader – Maluku Response Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the project in a specific geographic area of responsibility, including planning, budgeting, and oversight of distributions, community mobilization, planning of water and sanitation interventions, working with government counterparts, and in carrying out Monitoring and Evaluation and writing reports. Qualifications: * Possess a relevant university degree or college diploma and relevant 2-3 years work experience; * Experience working with communities and/or emergency response projects; * Some water and sanitation experience preferred; * Fluency in English, both written and spoken, highly desired; This position will be as fixed term employee for 3 months. 2. Project Officer – Maluku Response Responsible for day-to-day implementation of the Flood Relief project with affected communities in Maluku, including liaising with communities, preparing distributions, mobilization, working with government counterparts, and writing reports. Qualifications: * Possess a relevant university degree or college diploma and relevant 2-3 years work experience; * Experience working with communities and/or emergency response projects; * Some water and sanitation experience preferred; * Fluency in English, both written and spoken, highly desired. This position will be as fixed term employee for 2 months 3. Water Sanitation Officer – Maluku Response Responsible for day-to-day implementation of the Flood Relief project, specifically focusing on the WASH aspects, with affected communities in Maluku, including liaising with communities, preparing distributions, mobilization, working with government counterparts, and writing reports. Qualifications: * Technical related education; * Willingness to work in remote rural settings in the Maluku; * Experience in/of WASH programs; * Computer literacy is an asset; * Able to work in English.
