*About The Global Entrepreneurship Program – Indonesia (GEPI)* The Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia (GEPI) aims to catalyse Indonesia’s entrepreneurship strategies by working in partnership with existing programs and linking aspiring Indonesian entrepreneurs to global developments and investment prospects. GEPI formally was started in January 2011 by a group of 13 prominent business leaders in Indonesia who now comprise the Board of Founders. It has a full-time Secretariat in Jakarta. GEPI works in partnership with the many organizations and companies focused on developing entrepreneurship in Indonesia to do perform many activities including: · Raising the awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation in Indonesia · Working together to provide what we might call the right ecosystem for emerging entrepreneurs · Working together with entrepreneurship groups and the Government of Indonesia to improve the enabling environment for entrepreneurship · Working together to ensure that emerging entrepreneurs can have access to finance and domestic and international angel investors and · Helping to facilitate entrepreneurs and innovators scale GEPI seeks a Project Assistant for its programs to identify, support, and sustain entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The Project Assistant will report directly to the Program Officer. We are seeking a professional that is passionate about entrepreneurship and its potential to catalyze growth and change in Indonesia. The Project Assistant will be well positioned to provide support roles for exciting programs around developing and launching entrepreneurship incubators, business accelerators, and business plan competitions. *Project Assistant* Start Date :Immediately End Date :1 year contract (w/ possible extension) * * *Job Description :* Administrative and logistical duties related to events to be organised by GEPI Undertake finance and accounting duties related to monthly financial report and cash request Liaise with external contacts Flexible working hours – 5 days work in a week * * *Requirements :* Experience in event organizing (min. 1 year) Experience in finance and accounting (min. 1 year) Willingness to learn new procedures Working English proficiency Ability to work remotely/virtually Familiar with Microsoft Office applications for business and professional purposes Interested applicants should *only* send their CV (max. 2 pages) and the cover letter to secretariat@gep-indonesia.org before 03 September 2012 Working at GEPI provides a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where initiative is both expected and required.
