Study Clinicians (Medical Doctors) (2 people) Kodi, Sumba Barat Daya, NTT, Indonesia Duration: 7 month : 1 September 2012 - 31 March 2012 ALERTAsia Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation for grants management in biomedical research located at the Eijkman Institute Jakarta, immediately requires Study Clinicians/Medical Doctors to assist the conduct of a field-based study of malaria in West Sumba funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The positions are based at District area Kodi, Sumba Barat Daya, NTT. Responsibilities include perform medical examinations and provide perscription to local villagers especially on Malaria infected suspects. . The position reports to Sites Coordinator or when it is necessary to the Principal Investigator of the study. We seek a confident, dedicated, and self-motivated people comfortable to stay in a remote area with minimum facilities for 7 month duration (1 Sept 2012 - 31 March 2012). Functional ability in English language, spoken and written, is an advantage. Candidates should hold a Medical Degree from a reputable university.
