BSR is currently looking to build its pool of professional consultants and specialists in Indonesia. We are looking for qualified individuals with significant field experience in the mining and/or oil and gas industries. Individuals must possess strong practical knowledge of social impact management, challenges and approaches in the context of major extractive-industry capital projects. A strong awareness of technical, economic, and/or engineering issues associated with these capital projects is preferred. Candidates should possess the following attributes: • Minimum 10-15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in the extractives industry (mining, oil, gas and energy). • Strong knowledge of and experience in areas such as stakeholder engagement, community development, human rights and social risk analysis, or other areas of corporate social responsibility. • Experience in economic development, poverty alleviation, and implementation of social investment projects throughout Indonesia • Experience in program design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation, including Social Performance Monitoring and Evaluation • Awareness of occupational safety and risk management issues • Proven ability to work in both office and site-level environments • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with fluency in local dialects and other languages a plus • Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare high quality reports and deliver effective presentations in English for multi-disciplinary audiences • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Indonesia If you are interested, please submit your most recent resume to rkusbiantoro@bsr.org All information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
